WHAT WILL BE COVERED?
This course is ideally suited to arborists, foresters, estate workers, landscape gardeners… indeed anyone who needs to be able to maintain and operate a manually fed wood chipper.
The course will cover basic generic and site risk assessments, current H&S legislation and PPE; however, like most of our courses it is heavily biased towards the practical elements so you will be carrying out pre-start and post-operational checks, routine maintenance tasks and removal and replacement of the chipper knives (where appropriate). You will be asked to operate the wood chipper in a safe manner taking into account site and operator safety.
