This course covers work positioning and using a chainsaw to cut horizontal and vertical sections in the tree. The course covers free-fall and handheld techniques and different types of cuts. Find out more about the aerial cuttting course. You’l also get a chance to use battery operated saws as well as petrol-driven top handled chainsaws. This course was also known as CS39.
- An additional day will be required for the assessment.
- This course has pre-requisites, you will need to hold CS30 / 20-03, CS31 / 20-04 and CS38 / 20-13.
- Although we can supply equipment for hire if required, we would suggest that you bring along your own top-handled chainsaw, fitted with tool strop, and fuel.
- Climbing equipment must be in-date with LOLER requirements.
